ShowBoard - How to Use

ShowBoard is an image-based lecture and speech tool for using computer and projector, and because it is image-based, the source lecture documents can be in any form --- handwritten papers, printed papers, Adobe PDF files, MS Office files.

Prepare Your Lecture or Speech

The preparation process is converting the lecture / speech documents to computer image files. The image file can be in any of the popular formats, such as BMP, GIF, JPG, TIF, etc.

• If the documents are in paper form, use a scanner to accquire the images.
• If the documents are text files, such as Web page files, (*.htm), Adobe PDF files (*.pdf), MS Word Files (*.doc), convert them using a screen-capture programm like ScreenBoard.
  Tip: Some applications, such as Adobe Acrobat, have built-in image convertion utilities.
