Active File Finder is a ActiveX control for scanning and comparing directories and files. It can be used in WScript programms, HTA programs, and other applications that can use ActiveX controls. It is your ideal choice for writing backup/sync programms with.
Active File Finder is easy to understand and use. You use its ScanDirectory method to scan one directory or CompareDirectory to compares two directories. When you call either of the methods, you provide an callback function. When an item is found, it is passed to your callback function. If the item is a directory, your callback function will be called twice: once when entering the directory and once when leaving the directory.
