When You Should Use eGo

When you travel and are away from your ISP's IP range, their mail server may reject your outgoing messages by saying "relay denied".
If your contacts often complain they don't receive your messages in time.
If you don't want your messages to be logged by your outgoing mail serive provider.

Introduction

EGO is a personal desktop email server for tarvel and home use. The unique thing about EGO is that it links the email application and recipient's mail server directly. At just the same second as the application finishes sending the message, it is in the recipient's incoming mailbox.

Sync-Sending Unlike other email servers, which buffer the mails and send them later, the receiving and sending occurs simutaneously - so you can know the sending result from your email application.	Reliable security By default, eGo only accepts connections from the computer on which it is running. If you allow other computers to share eGo's service, you must add that computer's IP address explicitly.
Start and Exit quickly It is a user mode application, not a system service. You can start it and quit it as you do with any other user mode applications, such as your email application or word processer.	Efficient and Easy to Use It is a Win32 application. The executable file size is only about 110K. The user interface have only four buttons and a window display server and client status
