Email Application Configuration

Different mail application may have different user interfaces for configuring the outgoing mail server (SMTP server), but invariablly these are the four things need to be done:

• Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server's Name: With ego it is always localhost
• Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server Authentication: With eGo, it is always set to "No".
• Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server's Port Number: Must be the same port as eGo is configured to use. If you are using eGo's default setting, it is 25.
• Server Timeout: 3 minutes or longer.
