Introduction
XUEBROTHERS PhotoCutter is a handy tool for cutting pictures. The picture on the right shows 7 pictures cutted from the same picture.
- 1: Cutted with the [Round Corner] tool.
- 2: Cutted with the [Oval] tool.
- 3, 4: Cutted with pictures with alpha channels.
- 5, 6, 7: Cutted with black-white pictures (without alpha channels)

Standard Photo Prints Cutting
- Select a Crop Box:
The [Crop Box Type] button has a drop-down menu, which displays different standard photo print sizes, such as 6x4 or 5x3. With a standard photo print size selected, the crop box always keeps the right proportion while you are resizing it. - Border Width:
White border is another issue you may concern when taking photos to a printing shop. If you want white borders, set the border width using the [Border Width] button before cutting. At the printing shop, simply tell the assistant that you want no borders for your prints, because your pictures already have borders.
Ext. Cutter
The [Ext. Cutter] cuts one picture with another picture. The cutting picture can ba a picture with an alpha channel, such as a greeting card template, or just a black-white picture. Of the 7 samples shown above, 2 and 3 are cut using pictures with an alpha channel, and 5,6,7 are cut are cut using black-white pictures - this means you can just use "Paint" to make cutting pictures.
Other Functions
As you can see from the screen shot, XUEBROTHERS PhotoCutter has 3 groups of other frequently function, [Rotate], [Light] and [Colorize]. The picture below shows the effect of the [Light] and [Colorize] groups:

The download is a trial version of XUEBROTHERS PhotoCutter. It print a text line of trial version mark on each picture you save. Don't overwrite your original picture.
