With visible connection, GS (the sender) can automatically find online GR (the receivers) and put them in the Receivers List. Typically Visible Connections include:

• ActiveSync with USB: Microsoft ActiveSync is installed and a mobile phone is connected to a computer using USB line.
• Home Router: Computers and phones are connected to a same router. With this type of connection, multiple devices can exchange files using GSR.

If the sender and the receiver belongs to the same office network, the receiver's computer name can be used.

Some office network may not allow computers find each other by computer name. In that case, try "IP Connection" (see below).

When the sender and receiver are not at the same location or not using the same local network, they must comnunicate over the Internet. In this case, the sender must provide GS with the receiver's IP address as shown by picture on the right.

If the receiver is not connected to the Internet directly, but via local router, then the reciever must configure the router so that port 64082 is mapped to the receiver's computer.
